Behaviour management plans can be used to address particular issues by using a consistent and collaborative approach to working with children and families to support positive outcomes. This webinar provides an overview of what behaviour management plans are, when they can be useful and how service staff can develop them. This session is designed for participants who have had previous training on children’s development and behaviour.

Support Children’s Development – Accredited – Certificate IV Level CHCSAC004
This course provides participants with a understanding of the stages of school age children’s development to enable educators to have realistic expectations of the children in their care and plan appropriate and engaging programs. We will looking at how educators can support children’s physical, social, emotional, cognitive and language development.

It is aligned to the accredited unit CHCSAC004 Support the holistic development of children in school age care, which is a compulsory unit in Certificate IV in School Age Education and Care.

Candidates can choose to complete an assessment task during the month following the session to be awarded a Statement of Attainment.
